Good tour, minor issue

I took the Cotswolds day trip from London. The tour itself was quite good, saw some lovely villages and our guide was informative. The coach was comfortable enough for a day trip. My only minor issue was the departure point. It was a little confusing to find early in the morning and not as clearly marked as I would have liked. It added a bit of stress at the start. But once we were on our way, everything went smoothly. Overall, I'd say it was a positive experience and worth the money.

Smooth booking and great tour

I booked the 'Outlander Trail tour' a few weeks ago for my trip next month. The website was pretty easy to navigate; found the tour quickly and booking was straightforward. I received a confirmation email right away. I had a question about luggage limits for a different tour I was considering, and I used their online chat. Customer support responded within a couple of minutes and cleared things up. The tour itself was well-organized, our guide kept things moving but didn't rush us. The 16-seat coach was clean and comfortable, which made a big difference on longer stretches. Overall, a good experience, felt like good value for the price paid.

Always a great tour

I booked the Isle of Skye tour from Edinburgh again this year, just like I did two years ago. The experience was just as good. Our driver-guide, Sarah, was excellent and very knowledgeable, similar to the guide we had before. The minicoach was comfortable. It's why I keep coming back to Rabbies.

Hey, thinking of booking the Skye tour but a bit worried about space. How much luggage can you actually bring on those minicoaches?

R Ryan 3 months ago
Yeah, it's pretty tight. They're pretty strict about one medium bag per person, like a carry-on size. Plus a small daypack.

I went on a different tour with them but the rule was the same. You really can't haul a big suitcase on there. Keep it light!

Is it worth paying more for Rabbie's compared to like, Timberbush? Are they really that different for the same routes?

L Laura S. 3 months ago
I've done both! Rabbie's feels a bit more personal because the groups are smaller. Guides are usually really good too.

Yeah, the small group thing is the big plus. Timberbush can feel a bit more 'bus tour' sometimes, if you know what I mean. Depends what you're after.
